Call Amy Coney Barrett ACB, – The Left Hates That and They Hate this Too!

Democrats have a problem. Her name is Amy Coney Barrett (ACB). Mr. Trump’s latest nominee for the Supreme Court appears to be the perfect foil to their tactics. She’s smart and well respected across the political spectrum in the legal community. And regarded as by far more than qualified for the job.

Noah Feldman, a law professor at Harvard and former clerk to Supreme Court Justice David Souter, wrote that he was “devastated” by Ginsburg’s death and “revolted” by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s supposed hypocrisy, but he sang Barrett’s praises.

“Regardless of what you or I may think of the circumstances of this nomination, Barrett is highly qualified to serve on the Supreme Court,” Feldman wrote in his Bloomberg column. …

Feldman also praised ACB as “a sincere, lovely person. I never heard her utter a word that wasn’t thoughtful and kind — including in the heat of real disagreement about important subjects. She will be an ideal colleague.”

Feldman is not alone. Anyone who knows her or has met her has a similar opinion. She has a brilliant legal mind. She is viewed as a kind and thoughtful person. She is also a wildly successful career woman – only being Chief Justice would be a higher mark – and a loving wife and mother. She’s the incredible ACB. What the left insists no little girl can achieve without abortion.

A thing that Democrats have for years been claiming makes the other things she’s done difficult or impossible.

This may be strange coming from me, but they are not entirely wrong. The culture the Left has crafted for women, especially minorities, is one where fathers are unnecessary. Their latest embrace of BLM and its single mother agenda only proves the point. But we’ve watched that experiment unfold for decades, and for people who blindly accept the Left’s views on the family, it can be difficult to impossible.

Strange how the primary relief for the burden of children, the abortion industry, thrives on that worldview and then rewards Democrats for keeping them in business. They even call it women’s health care. As if deliberately denying something, the majority of the arc of its potential existence for the benefit of another has anything to do with health or care.

Amy Coney Barrett knows this is not true. She understands that this denies a child a life they would have had if abortion was not such an obvious answer. A century of life and accomplishments might have been possible for millions if not for the will of the Left first to destroy traditional families, even a modicum of social morality, and then unborn children.

Barrett opposes abortion, but the matter before her as a judge is one of the legal questions. And to that end, Health care and Obama Care will likely be prominent among the left’s attacks. Judge Barrett will be labeled as a risk to women and health care.

I feel certain he will field the questions and the barbs with ease.  From what I’ve read, she has a far greater legal mind and grasp or argument and debate than any of the politicians who seek to challenge her qualifications.

I may even watch all these hearings, though I suspect the highlight reels and replays will be more than adequate to give us a sense of the battle. One in which the left may be embarrassingly outgunned.
