For decades the folks at NASA and NOAA have used the mass-delusion of climate change and the fear manufactured from it to bloat their budgets and those of allies and “rising” water carriers. A few dozen former NASA scientists have asked them to be a bit more scientific and a bit less hyperbolic.

The unbridled advocacy of CO2 being the major cause of climate change is unbecoming of NASA’s history of making an objective assessment of all available scientific data prior to making decisions or public statements.
As former NASA employees, we feel that NASA’s advocacy of an extreme position, prior to a thorough study of the possible overwhelming impact of natural climate drivers is inappropriate. We request that NASA refrain from including unproven and unsupported remarks in its future releases and websites on this subject.
We have to assume they will now be punished for their heresy. Thou Shalt Not question the Pharisees of the Climate Cult. Your job is to do this or shut up.
And this is not a subject with which our readers are unfamiliar, by which I mean both the advocacy and the chemistry. The 97% fraud. The terrible unworkable “solutions,” all of it. Nor is it one with which I am just passing fancy. I recently stumbled on something I wrote in April of 2008 (elsewhere) that seems relevant.
I’ll wager there’s a crisis but what Al [Gore] isn’t telling us is that the crisis has nothing to do with some environment he claims to champion. The crisis is that the science obviously isn’t settled, and Al knows it. (Again, I may be giving him too much credit.) His window is closing.
The planet is already showing signs of change, and it is not the kind of change that supports his alarmism. As CO2 levels continue to rise across the planet (in conjunction with significant industrial growth across India and Asia) – global temperatures have leveled off since “Al’s hottest year on record” – and may even have begun to drop. The evidence is clearly shifting away from Al’s settled science.
More and more people—in positions of influence—are sitting up and asking the wrong kinds of questions. So this campaign can no longer be about CO2 emissions. This is no longer about some climate catastrophe. Al’s millions are nothing more than a personal investment in ensuring the environmental cult of personality that is Al Gore.
That was a very brief toe-dip into the political blogging waters. A month later, I would start a blog that would later (much later) become the New Media Militia long after I had moved along to NH Insider, which eventually lead me here. It’s a journey, as is the weather’s politicization to advance a centrally planned global economy.
And now, more than a decade (and tens of thousands of thoughts later), we’ve got another mass delusion. That COVID19 is this population ending plague. The difference? A lot more people believe the latter (plague) than the former (climate hysteria).
We have credentialed experts who both question and disagree with the plague-erists. And the latter gets cover from the same cabal that’s been pimping the not-so-convincing climate catastrophe, using the same tactics but on an accelerated program. Denounce them as heretics, silence their opposition, and excommunicate them (includes de-platforming and cancel culture).
The real fear is not the virus but the political culture that surrounds it. We’ve been wrestling with the climate cult for 40-years, and they are still at it. Can we convince ourselves that this latest victory in mass delusion will not continue for at least as long no matter how many experts contradict it?
