Texas School Teacher’s ‘Assignment’ Compares Cops to Klansman and Slave Owners

Maybe it’s the union thing. Why else would a Democrat school teacher assume cops are Democrats. They did, after all, compare them to slave owners and Klansman. All Democrats. Except there’s a problem. Recent events have facilitated a #WalkAway movement in law enforcement.

Cops are not exactly Democrats anymore. Well, increasingly less likely to vote for them. And this won’t help.

The political Left has abandoned police officers, literally, to the wolves. Democrat wolves. From Mayors to city councils to politicians up and down the ticket to the Antifa and BLM thugs to street criminals released by Democrats back into the public. With few exceptions, the Democrats have forced cops to realize that politics comes before people.

Neither will this.

The latest outrage involved the image above. It was presented to students in the Wylie Independent School District, northeast of Dallas.

The vice president of the nation’s largest police organization, Joe Gamaldi, wrote, “I cannot begin to tell you how abhorrent and disturbing this comparison is, but what is more disturbing is that no adult within your school thought better before sending this assignment to children.

“In his reply, Vinson promised he had directed his staff “to review this and reconsider these lessons to be neutral and not take political sides.”

“We are teaching, not endorsing. I apologize. It is being corrected for the future,” he said.

The assignment has been labeled as unauthorized, but it has taught a lot of people, we hope, a lesson. The Left is serious. They will discriminate with extreme prejudice, and there is only one approved narrative, theirs.

And they will flip on you in a heartbeat if it will advance their agenda.

Blacks, gays, and women who support Trump already know that.

So, are you next?

You’ll never know until it happens. You’d best hope that when it does, they do not have the legislative power and the force of law do to you whatever they want. That is, after all, the definition of a Democrat utopia.
