Six Democrat Mayors in Minnesota Endorse Donald Trump for President

Portions of Democrat states like Minnesota have been increasingly in play. Places the left saw as reliable are not. And while we may be adding a number of large urban areas (or even all of New York State where Trump is only down by as few as 5 points), classic blue-collar towns are choosing Donald Trump.

Trump did very well in many of them in 2016. But Democrats have committed to the same job-destroying policies as Clinton (on steroids), so Trump should carry them again in 2020 (vote-by-mail permitting). But Minnesota?

It’s not known for electing Republicans for the same reasons as California. While a majority of the surface area votes red, the densely packed urban areas have more votes. Most of Minnesota voted for Trump in 2016, but Clinton collected 45,000 more votes and won the state.

That’s not looking so reliable in 2020. Six Democrat mayors have come together to endorse Donald Trump for president.

“…four years ago, something wonderful happened. Donald J. Trump was elected President of the United States, and he stood up to China, implemented tax cuts, and fought for the working class. Now, four years later, the Iron Range is roaring back to life and for the first time in a very long time, locals are hopeful because of this President’s policies and willingness to fight for us,” the mayors continue. “Lifelong politicians like Joe Biden are out of touch with the working class, out of touch with what the country needs, and out of touch with those of us here on the Iron Range and in small towns like ours across our nation.”

The Iron range borders Lake Superior and includes iron ore mining towns and surrounding communities. An area that voted for Hillary in 2016. Are there 45,000+ votes in that part of the state? I have no idea, but it’s a large area, so I’m going to go with yes. And given what happened in Minneapolis and other urban areas, those are no longer reliable Democrat strongholds.

Leadership is finally getting a sense that the riots and their support or indifference have damaged them as a party. It took them three months to figure that out – and they still think they are smarter than the rest of us.

Oh look, let’s let groups we support destroy neighborhoods and commit an exponential increase in crimes in the name of justice.

Yeah, you folks are so damn smart. You are, keep it up. And by all means, if Trump wins, get right back to the burning and rioting. That’ll win even more folks over to your cause. Or, maybe, it will get a lot more of them killed as folks like Kyle Rittenhouse decide that defending themselves and risking charges is a better deal than getting killed y BLM thugs or Antifa radicals.

The math isn’t on your side. There is a citizen militia in America and has a lot more firepower and training than you could ever imagine. It supports the police and the military, both of whom you hate. Together they are an impossible coalition for you to overcome, and burning down your own cities is not winning you any points with the locals.

If you think your ideology is worth a war, you will get one if you start it. And it looks like you have. And your biggest enemy is not America. It’s the fact that you think you are smarter than everyone else. Smarter than the people you work for from whom you derive your authority.

It could cost you Minnesota, the next Presidential election, the House and the Senate, a majority of the state legislatures and governors offices. All you’ll have is an angry mob hiding from a nationwide clean-up operation.

A fitting end if we can get there from here.  I’m not saying we can, but when blue section of large states starts defecting, that’s not a sign that you’re on the right track.

Democrat mayors from the towns of Virginia, Chisholm, Ely, Two Harbors, Eveleth, and Babbitt signed on to the announcement.
