NPR – Maybe COVID19’s Not That Deadly After All…?

I too grow weary of the constant drum-beat of virus this and that posts, but hey! it’s bigger than anything, so we have to talk about it. And THIS is a stunning admission, sort-of-kind-of, that that virus-thingy isn’t as bad as we thought. My guess? NPR thinks Biden is gonna win, and they need a soft spot for him to land.

It is a well-regarded fact on the center-right that if Biden were to win in November, the world would suddenly be cured. The same way homelessness or the body counts from never-ending foreign wars disappear when a democrat is in the Oval Office. Masks and distancing will be so July/August, and there will be Hydroxychloroquine (which is suddenly safe and abundant) in every cupboard.

But you can’t flip a switch. You need a background. A little frontloading. So, here is Nancy Pelosi Radio to help things along.

Mounting evidence suggests the coronavirus is more common and less deadly than it first appeared.

The evidence comes from tests that detect antibodies to the coronavirus in a person’s blood rather than the virus itself.

The tests are finding large numbers of people in the US who were infected but never became seriously ill. And when these mild infections are included in coronavirus statistics, the virus appears less dangerous.

Mounting evidence that will quietly mount until Trump Wins, and it all gets flushed down the memory hole.

But hey (again), the media isn’t biased.
