There’s a rumor going around since I launched the new EC5 Poll. That Christopher Maidment, who works for the Wheeler Campaign, is an Admin at GraniteGrok.com. The implication is that this will allow him to manipulate the poll results. Not that he could if he was, but Chris is not an Admin.

His official role is as a MicroGrok author. That’s more limited than authors on the Main Site.
He does have editorial privileges on the Monadnock Grok site, but that’s it. He can’t add or remove users or make any back end changes to any portion of the MicroGrok or the main site.
He can’t even publish content to the main site without Admin permission. And he has no editor privileges on GraniteGrok.com itself.
We have very few Admins. Skip, Mike Rogers and I, and two people we pay for the design and technical updates to the website have this access level. That’s it.
These images are pulled from our Users page. Note that Mr. Maidmnet has no administrative privileges, and I can tell you he never has. These are precious rights we keep close.
I suspect that any such claim was merely a misunderstanding. And for the record, anyone who writes for GraniteGrok while being paid by a campaign would be expected to indicate this in a disclaimer under anything they wrote related to that campaign or to include it in their bio.
One final note. Chris does have admin and moderator privileges on the Grok Facebook Group, as do Susan Olsen, Skip Murphy, and myself. We turst these individuals to know what we expect from and in the Group. That, however, has no bearing on anything but what goes down there, and I monitor the page for actions taken by admins on a regular basis.
There are few to almost none.
And no one who is an admin at GraniteGrok.com is currently paid by any campaign for any purpose. Everyone else answers to Skip or me.
So, please disregard any accusations to the contrary or, better yet, send them or direct them to me at steve@granitegrok.com and I will be happy to address your concerns or theirs.
