Announcement – Steve Mac Donald

No, nothing is wrong with Steve. At least to my knowledge, that is. No second heart attack, no accident, and no illnesses other being a Freedom and Liberty obsessed blogger (which, at times, give our opponents big doses of heartburn – heh!).

However, I did want to make a formal announcement concerning Steve and GraniteGrok (if you hadn’t noticed by the change in his email signature and mine if we’ve been emailing with you lately).

In honor of his years of relentless and sharp writing, his political activism, and his willingness to head up GrokTALK! for a few years, and his continuing acceptance of the role of Editor (and lest I forget, our social media maven), I made the offer to Steve to make him a Partner in GraniteGrok. This equity position (such as GraniteGrok has any such equity) was the proper thing to do – a recognition that Steve has made huge contributions to GraniteGrok over a long number of years. Without him, I posit that we wouldn’t be “dominating the political bandwidth in New Hampshire” (our tag line, above – which was his creation long before it became a reality). for a whole host of reasons.

Thankfully, he said yes.

We’re still a bunch of ragtag volunteers taking on the rest of the multi-million dollar MSM entities here in NH, taking on the Democrat / Progressive / Socialists, and a lot of the times, spineless Republican – and winning. Everywhere I go, there seems to be a new-found respect for what we have done, what we continue to do, and the style and panache with which we do it.

And this post’s intent was to put some of that “notice” on Steve. Well earned, sir

Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom and how the Government is taking that away. As an evangelical Christian and Conservative with small "L" libertarian leanings, my fight is with Progressives forcing a collectivized, secular humanistic future upon us. As a TEA Party activist, citizen journalist, and pundit!, my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture.
