President Signs Order to Prevent Illegal Aliens from Being Counted for Redistricting

The entire point of counting illegal non-citizens is to tip redistricting in favor of Democrats. There is no reason to believe they should be counted. If the census was for every person in a state at the time of the census, any number of folks could move somewhere, claim to live there legally, tip the scales then leave.

It would look a lot like the way NH has until recently handled voting. Democrats demand vote-by-mail and absentee ballots for everyone (and have for years), but no one is allowed to vote (by mail) where they are from using these tools. If they are in the state on election day, they want those votes counted (because college kids will vote Democrat).

It has and does tip the scales of power.

Such is the nature of the problem with the census. If anyone who is taking in the air between a set of political borders is declared a resident (for the next ten years, for seats in congress and buckets of federal money), there is an incentive to do just that. You stuff the ballot box (so to speak), or in this case the census, with warm bodies.

That is theft of your rights, representation, your tax dollars, and could even realign the electoral college here and there (mostly expanding in California). So, we’re not surprised to see Democrats steamrolling anyone who objects on either issue.

The caravans were meant (IMO) for this very purpose. Get as many illegals across the border as you can and into areas where they are big thumb on the scale. Get them counted, and shift the balance of power for a decade. Donald Trump, whatever you think his motivations are, does not think non-citizens, temporary occupants, or anyone here illegally should get counted.

He’s right. And he has signed an order to that effect.

“My Administration will not support giving congressional representation to aliens who enter or remain in the country unlawfully, because doing so would create perverse incentives and undermine our system of government.  Just as we do not give political power to people who are here temporarily, we should not give political power to people who should not be here at all.”

The left will hate it, him (more), us (more), and go straight to court, and we’ll do the dance, and maybe, it’s a coin flip at this point, Trump wins. Maybe not. But we had best hope he does. We can’t afford any more “perverse incentives that undermine our system of government.”
