Today’s #ReopenNH Rally is taking place on the public sidewalk and the streets around the State House beginning at noon. So, we’re curious about these signs and the City of Concord’s plans for ‘enforcement’ when rally participants arrive.

Skip took the picture shortly after he arrived.

For the health and safety of yourself and others. Scheduled gatherings of more than ten (10) people are temporarily prohibited.

This is to protect public health and safety and to:

    • Minimize the risk of your potential exposure to COVID-19.
    • Slow the spread of the virus to others, especially to vulnerable populations such as the elderly and those with underlying health conditions.
    • Minimize the risk of overwhelming our local healthcare facilities and to allow access to medical services to those who need it.

Gov. Blah blah blah.

Groups of nine, no problem. Social distancing…or, more likely, just drive around in your car and toot the horn now and again. I don’t think we can rival Lansing’s gridlock, but we should be able to attract some attention.

It’s up to you. We will be there as media to cover whatever goes down. Skip is already there with a camera to record the “festivities.”

Live Free or Die.

The sign indicates that violators can be charged with a misdemeanor for gathering in groups of ten or more.
