Normally I’d title this under Notable Quote but hopefully a Quick Thought will do it:

And she means “Classic Western Liberalism” when she says “liberals”. Progressive wish us all to REgress back centuries and governance style and actually HATE Classic Western Liberalism because that depends on Freedom – Progressives just want the Power to rule. Of course, they call their style “scientific” as if every move and decision was based on….something other than self-righteousness. No, actually, that IS what it is – along with Power. They rule, we be serfs. Just like Feudalism. Only worse as at least SOME of the old Nobility actually cared about their people.
So when I hear “public-private partnership” coming out of the mouths of Progressives, it’s more like “You will be assimilated”. Already, much of what used to be “charitable organizations” have already been assimilated – the goal is to eliminate the notion of an independent Civil Society between Government and Individuals – assimilated. No longer having a buffer, Progressive Govt will then absorb the rest of those that haven’t voluntarily assimilated themselves (thinking that THEY may be part of the new nomenklatura).
