The Democrats knee-jerk obsession with contradicting President Trump continues to reap rewards for Donald Trump. A just-released study from France involving 80 patients given hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin showed significant clinical improvement.

But that can’t be!
Last week The Donald, citing earlier success overseas urged the FDA to get off its ass and approve the drugs for more wide-spread use. Democrats and their Media hacks launched a contradictory broadside attack which, and I have to think Trump knew this when he said it, has made them all look like a donkey’s ass. New trial data from France has handed Trump another victory and landed Demedia back in the TDS drunk tank.
In 80 in-patients receiving a combination of hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin, the team found a clinical improvement in all but one 86 year-old patient who died, and one 74-year old patient still in intensive care unit. The team also found that, by administering hydroxychloroquine combined with azithromycin, they were able to observe an improvement in all cases, except in one patient who arrived with an advanced form, who was over the age of 86, and in whom the evolution was irreversible, according to a new paper published today in IHU Méditerranée Infection.
In other words, if introduced early on, even in high-risk patients, we see significant improvement and many lives saved. This means that the mass media’s effort to invalidate the treatment or “emergency” use by doctors or to delay approval by FDA “puts the blood on their hands,” not those of the President.
And when I say victory, I mean against the 24/7/365 smear campaign. The Press Wars and not just their Democrat party enablers. Many Democrats overdosed on this anti-Trump prescription. None more than Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitman who went so far as to have her licensing board threaten doctors and pharmacists who prescribed hydroxychloroquine for any patient.
No one in the Demedia appears interested in suggesting she is not qualified to inject her opinion into the debate as they did with the President, who was merely asking the appropriate agencies to remove roadblocks. Whitmer has added roadblocks. But why stop there. She has opened ACT II of her political theater by accusing the White House of canceling contracts that would bring more medical supplies into her state.

Whitmer’s inability to provide proof has attracted the attention of the Michigan Legislature which has requested proof so they can step in and help.
The ball is now in Gov. Whitmer’s Court. She has insisted that the Feds are out to get her and by extension the people of Michigan. That they are deliberately preventing much needed medical supplies from being delivered. The legislature has made it clear that if her accusations are true this is a terrible situation that cannot be permitted to continue, and they are prepared to aid her in the fight to correct this wrong.
So where’s the proof?
Whitmer’s office has, as yet, been unable to provide any. What are the Vegas odds that she has none?
Let me put that another way. If she did have proof would it not be the biggest story of the week in heavy rotation on every news outlet and media feed on the planet?
It will be if it’s true. So-called journalists will ignore it if it is not. And to date, they are ignoring it.
