NJ orders up to 1,000 inmates released to lessen coronavirus while left-wing governor threatens ‘action’ against residents who violate stay-at-home order
“Democrat totalitarianism
Up to 1,000 New Jersey inmates are being temporarily released by the state to stem the coronavirus tide, Politico reported, citing the American Civil Liberties Union, which campaigned for the move along with the state Office of the Public Defender.
“Unprecedented times call for rethinking the normal way of doing things, and in this case it means releasing people who pose little risk to their communities for the sake of public health and the dignity of people who are incarcerated,” ACLU-NJ Executive Director Amol Singha said in a statement, the outlet noted.
But nothing said about the “dignity” of those who have ALWAYS followed the law, who have always done the right things, and now will not only have to deal with the threat of the Wuhan Flu but those who were judged to be a threat to the public. Why is it that Democrats always show that they prioritize criminals over the law-abiding citizenry?
So, will Phil Murphy’s administration clap “law breakers” that simply go out of their homes? Will they be made examples by an incipient police state that would invoke the “IRS Rule” (e.g., make an example of a few as a message to the majority that “you, too, can end up in that situation”)? And then shoved into the local pokey?
But would they then have “obtained dignity via incarceration” and then patted on the head and sent out into the wide world like those above?
Sadly, I doubt it.
