Data Point – 3 in 4 US Adults believe they will be better off financially next year

Or as Powerline puts it:

WHY TRUMP WILL BE RE-ELECTED, IN ONE DATA POINT

Gallup finds that 59% say they are better off than they were a year ago, as opposed to only 20% who say they are worse off. Those are great numbers–interestingly, we are so divided that political affiliation makes a big difference even on a simple question about one’s own finances–but that isn’t the data point I mean. The most striking finding is this one: 74% say they expect to be better off a year from now than they are today, the highest such finding Gallup has ever recorded

Gallup 3 in 4 Americans say will be better off next year

“Don’t mess what is working” may well be the thought processes of those answering the poll.  There is dignity to work and Trump is emphasizing that side of things instead of the Democrats promising everything for free – but for those of you who know what TANSTAAFL means, the Democrats will take more from your paycheck in order to “give you free stuff” later.  Much later.

If at all.
