So this was what Liddle Chris was saying on December 10th:
The first paragraph echoes the demonstrably false Schiff/Nadler propaganda … that President Trump sought foreign interference in the 2020 election and “obstructed Congress”.
The foreign interference claim is belied … among many, many other things … by the FACTS that the transcript of the Trump/Zelensky shows no linkage between aid and investigations, that President Trump had a legitimate reason for withholding the aid, that linkage never came up in several subsequent conversations between the administration and the Ukrainians, that the aid was ultimately released despite no new investigations, and that President Zelensky has repeatedly said he was not pressured.
The obstruction claim is even more ludicrous. If Congress believes that a witness is required to appear, the recourse has been to get a court order to that effect, not impeach.
But I digress. The point is that at the very time Liddle Chris is spouting the Schiff/Nadler talking-points … he is claiming he hasn’t made up his mind and intends to conduct an unbiased review of the facts. Which is total bullish*t … if you are really reserving judgment, and if you really intend to be unbiased … the you don’t present the Schiff/Nadler propaganda as “fact.”
Liddle Chris … obviously … wanted to have it both ways. He wanted to placate his Hard-Left base, while at the same time he wanted to give Independent voters the illusion that he was an independent thinker who doesn’t just vote in lockstep with Pelosi.
It didn’t work. He was getting mocked and ridiculed on twitter … especially today … for wanting to have it both ways.
So Liddle Chris … just a few hours ago … cut his losses and ended the charade:
This latest statement is every bit as much bullish*t as the first. How did the President “compromise[] the rule of law”? Liddle Chris doesn’t say … because he can’t. How did the President “compromise[] … our national security”? Liddle Chris … again … doesn’t say, because … again … he can’t.
Liddle Chris is a PHONY. A self-serving PHONY.
