The insular view of a political urbanite is the picture above while having no knowledge of the picture below. That wide emptiness. A lack of awareness of its form which gives rise to the uninformed ignorance of what it is without realizing that people live there!
And it is why and how we got Trump. And why the Progressives are trying to rid of us this “antiquated idea of government past”. What they refuse to admit is that the entity that set up the Electoral College was NOT a document outlining a government. Instead, it is a legal document constraining the worst of human greed (on acquiring Power at any means to themselves) both on a vertical as well as a horizontal level. In essence, a sociological/psychological treatise that happens to be formulated in a political theme.
