We don’t just make fun of climate cultists. Nor do we limit ourselves to contradicting their ‘science.’ We share science that solves the problems they claim need solving, which they ignore. Proof that this nonsense has nothing to do with man’s impact on our weather and everything to do with socialism.
First, a quick refresher. No government is capable of saving the planet from the climate. Statistically, the sort of government they claim most suited to the job – were it possible – is socialism, which has the worst environmental record of any form of government.
Second, CO2 is not the problem they claim, but if it were, everyone in the world would know about these advances.
Two separate and distinct carbon sequestration technologies have had breakthroughs this year. The first is a scalable method to convert airborne CO2 into coal at room temperature. The other uses significantly less energy than any previous designs to remove CO2 from powerplant stacks before it ever escapes into the atmosphere. It is also sensitive enough to do the same thing with regular outdoor air, or so they suggest.
There is now a third breakthrough to address the so-called issue. “Scientists have developed a large-scale economical method to extract hydrogen (H2) from oil sands (natural bitumen) and oil fields.”
Grant Strem, CEO of Proton Technologies which is commercializing the process says “This technique can draw up huge quantities of hydrogen while leaving the carbon in the ground. When working at production level, we anticipate we will be able to use the existing infrastructure and distribution chains to produce H2 for between 10 and 50 cents per kilo. This means it potentially costs a fraction of gasoline for equivalent output”
Hydrogen-powered vehicles already exist. In a free market where the fuel source is increasingly available, demand and price signals would drive supply and innovation.
If CO2 were something that concerned them.

To Democrats and the media, these planet-saving technologies should be bigger stories than the latest “mass-shooting.” Nope. Because the Climate Cult isn’t any more interested in saving the planet than they are in your race, sex, gender, age, or anything else.
As with all things on the left, this is just another tool to grow the power of the state.
The Left’s current economic solution to humanity’s addiction to cheap, abundant, affordable energy (and the income opportunities it provides to all) is to impose millions, billions, or trillions is regressive and punitive taxes. To redirect that money to the government, which will use it (or so they claim) to make the world a greener place. Massive new legislative acts of force combined with a significant redistribution of wealth.
Their answer is socialism. If you have not noticed, their answer to everything is socialism even though socialism has proven to be more harmful to the environment, healthcare, income equality, opportunity, and even human dignity, than free-market capitalism.
They aren’t in this for you (or the planet). They are in it for themselves, and no one else.
If it really mattered, these three technologies and there are others, would be the focus of their attention and they are not even under consideration. As I said, it’s not about CO2; it is about Socialism.
Why else refuse to debate any of it?
