I followed up my post (“Well, is Mayor Joyce Craig and the Manchester City Charter Commission about to get a wedgie?“) with a call to Mark Warden and he graciously granted a quick interview:
He’s promised to keep us updated on this issue as, IMHO, there are a bunch of important sub-issues under this – especially Mayor Joyce Craig’s administration refusing to adhere to The Rule of Law. If her administration can pick and choose which laws it will follow and ignore, why should residents not be doing the same thing? Remember that it was Rudy Guiliani that instituted the “Broken Window” era of police patrolling (no longer ignoring the petty crimes that said “hey, we won’t do anything about it”). But what does one do when it isn’t petty criminals breaking the law but Government itself?
Note: sorry for the first few words missing from the interview.
