Hunter Biden Used Government Property to Peddle Influence. But on the other hand, Reagan appointed FBI Director William Sessions was removed from office for using government property to haul four pieces of decorative wood for his fireplace from DC to New York.
He also committed the crime of letting his wife fly on an FBI plane without compensating the government.
Remember Chief of Staff, Big John Sununu, who bought stamps at a convention while riding in a government car? He was excoriated by the press, as is their method with conservatives close to a target, on a daily basis until the old “he has to go” chant starts.
John Sununu was, in fact, guilty – of trusting a Bush. But he was at least a government official while using government planes for personal use.

Back to Hunter Biden.
He went on his flight to China with a mission of collecting $1.5 billion of investments for his firm.
Hunter rode on Air Force II for personal enrichment and what was supposed to be the beginning of an endless supply generational wealth so he would never have to hold a job – just like his father.

(a) Prohibition It shall be unlawful for any issuer which has a class of securities registered pursuant to section 78l of this title or which is required to file reports under section 78o(d) of this title, or for any officer, director, employee, or agent of such issuer or any stockholder thereof acting on behalf of such issuer, to make use of the mails or any means or instrumentality of interstate commerce corruptly in furtherance of an offer, payment, promise to pay, or authorization of the payment of any money, or offer, gift, promise to give, or authorization of the giving of anything of value to—
Take a breath here. Hunter the drug addict with zero finance skills gets a promise of $1.5 billion from the Chinese government operatives for his new investment firm. They would be the “issuers.”

Hunter Biden and his dad didn’t just fly Air Force II to China to cut this deal. They had to have pre-trip contact. That would be use of the mail.
It might be time for Mr. Barr to ask for some old emails from the Biden family.
