My new truck doesn’t get much in the way of radio reception, so I was tuning around and found NHNPR. Which is, in fact, more like Nincom Poop Radio.
The depth this station has sunk to in promoting progressive and left-wing Democrat nonsense is laughable and kind of funny.
You know how they use sounds to back up their segments such as birds chirping or water running when during a story about woodlands and such? Or goofy music clips?
Well, they decided to use a song Tennessee Ernie Ford was famous for singing. It is called “Sixteen Tons.” It is about digging coal – by hand.
Since all pretentious, eco-Luddites want coal eliminated from use for heat and power in America – not China – I thought it might be more educational to swap a few lyrics around in that grand old song.
Unions are headed for the dust bin. So it might be time for a new song about hard-working people on a day dedicated to labor.
