When a baby is born, he or she is still connected to the umbilical cord and receives oxygen-rich blood from the placenta for a few minutes. Sometimes the baby needs assistance or stimulation to begin breathing on his or her own. (It’s not done anymore, but recall the doctor spanking the newborn in the old movies to get the newborn to cry and begin breathing.)
Ayatollah-Pete’s woke reading of the Word of God is that God is OK with us killing babies that are not born breathing on their own because they are not yet biblically alive.
