VA Beach Shooting Victim Wanted To Carry to Work But it Was a Gun-Free Zone

Bad people always look for folks who can’t defend themselves. That way, they can guarantee the desired force advantage. Gun Free Zones make this not just possible but inviting. And the recent VA Beach Shooting shows us why we need to end them.

Kate Nixon told her husband shortly before the shooting that she was concerned about the coworker who ended up murdering her and 11 others on May 31, according to family lawyer Kevin Martingayle. The lawyer told WHRO Nixon considered carrying a firearm to her office for protection from the eventual attacker but decided not to because concealed guns were banned on the premises. His comments were first reported by the Virginian-Pilot.

She had to choose between ignoring her suspicions to obey the rules that got her killed.

Democrats are entirely to blame for this. And they won’t stop until every inch of real estate they can lay claim to is a target rich environment.
