The Democrat majority House had a sub-committee hearing on slavery reparations. Reparations hearings and public statements are a wind-up and pitch heading into the 2020 elections. One that perhaps the Democrats should have avoided.
Burgess Owens, the former NFL player, is also a former Democrat. He switched after he looked at the history “and discovered the misery that party brought to my race.” He spoke to the subcommittee and had some interesting things to share.
Like how the Democrat party (if anyone) should pay reparations for slavery. (Democrats and the Democrat party paying Slavery Reparations is not a new idea. Mark Levin recently made the case here.)
Five minutes.
