Victoria Sullivan will challenge incumbent Manchester mayor Joyce Craig in November’s municipal election. The former state representative made her announcement today in the Manchester Millyard, flanked by supporters.
Sullivan said, “While we are at a crossroads, I truly believe Manchester will shine again….I will be proud to lead this city into its next transformation.
“I actually know the struggles people in Manchester are facing, and that’s because my family is just like yours. My family is a resilient blue-collar family. When a career politician starts talking about overriding the tax cap and taking away more of your hard-earned money, I see the sacrifices families have made. Those are the families I’ll be fighting for.”
Sullivan represented Manchester ward 9 for two terms in the New Hampshire House, where she served on the Education Committee. She has been a strong advocate for empowering families through school choice initiatives.
