New Study Shows Pro-Growth Policies are Working

New Hampshire has highest ever ranking in new ALEC Rich States, Poor States study

CONCORD, NH – Americans for Prosperity-New Hampshire on Monday praised elected officials who helped enact pro-growth policies that led to New Hampshire’s highest ranking in ALEC’s “Rich States, Poor States” study. The study examines state trends in economic growth and placed the Granite State as the 16th best state for its economic outlook ranking and 19th best state for its economic performance ranking.

“Fiscal responsibility and pro-growth policies are paramount to a healthy economy and creating more opportunity for future generations. Business tax relief has been the catalyst of our booming economy and helped vault New Hampshire to the highest economic outlook and performance rankings we’ve ever received,” said AFP-NH State Director, Greg Moore. “Our state is heading in the right direction, but an irresponsible budget with tax increases jeopardizes our economic future and reverses the gains we’ve made. Lawmakers should ensure we keep our state on the path of growth by continuing the policies that are giving more opportunity to all Granite Staters.”
