Early on in Global Warming Hysteria ‘disappearing glaciers’ was a pivotal talking point in the “End is Near” (government can prevent it) narrative. But one of the critical glaciers in that storyline of decline has started growing again.
Is there a Vegas-Line on Sea ice, glaciers, and climate doom? Not that I can find. The best you can do is vapid nonsense like this from liberal Climate Cult doyen like Neil deGrasse Tyson. In 2017 he proposed a challenge.
“You take all the scientists who author these papers, get them to pool their money and invest in companies that would benefit from global warming,” said Tyson. “And take all the people who are in denial of global warming, take all their money and invest in companies that would presume there is no global warming. And I would predict [the climate deniers] will all go broke in the next 50 years.”
Global Warming is a political construct conceived to redistribute wealth and empower governments. States that advocate it are using force to confiscate (taxes) and redirect billions (grants and loans) toward research and business concerns that promote the advance their political agenda.
Entire industries have risen that would never exist without this money. The climate cult Pharisees themselves are beholden to this redistributive scheme. They dance to the tune of the Federal Grant Fiddler.
Guaranteed ‘investment’ isn’t the only finger on this scale. The same government force will suppress opportunities or research that contradicts the goal as needed.
The people going broke are taxpayers.
What if we remove the government-money influence? Allow the free market, reacting to consumer needs and demands, and even shoddy science, to choose what and where to invest in solving this or any problem? Neither Tyson nor his Climate “experts” would ever make a bet.
They are frauds.
And the latest news that a lead actor in the political theater known as Climate Change has left the stage is no detriment to the end goal.

A major Greenland glacier that was one of the fastest shrinking ice and snow masses on Earth is growing again, a new NASA study finds.
The Jakobshavn glacier around 2012 was retreating about 1.8 miles and thinning nearly 130 feet annually. But it started growing again at about the same rate in the past two years, according to a study in Monday’s Nature Geoscience. Study authors and outside scientists think this is temporary.
“That was kind of a surprise. We kind of got used to a runaway system,” said Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland ice and climate scientist Jason Box. “The good news is that it’s a reminder that it’s not necessarily going that fast. But it is going.”
Growing is now going. More is less, as with the poles. That trace gas you exhale that makes every green thing grow is destroying the planet, and the only solution is more what? Redistribution of wealth from people who create it to the State and its experts who can’t be proven wrong.
Folks committed to socialist politics and even one-world government where rights are handed out like grants to people who say and do what the state wants said and done.
