Democrat Debra Altschiller ‘Likes’ Denying Your Right to Free Speech

It’s not every day that the headline writes itself, but here we are. New Hampshire House Democrat Debra Altschiller made time to react to a status update on Facebook. She ‘Liked’ a post exposing a list of Democrats who voted to deny citizens their constitutional right to free speech.

And of course, she did. She was one of the Democrats who did it. I wrote about the death blow here when it died on the floor of the NH House.

New Hampshire passed a buffer zone law a while back. It allows private property owners to declare exercises of free speech on adjacent public property as a safety hazard. Its actual purpose is to allow abortion providers the power to infringe on the free speech rights to which they object.

The update was a picture of the committee vote on a bill to repeal New Hampshire’s unconstitutional buffer zone law (before a lawsuit arises and taxpayers have to pay through the nose). These Democrats voted to kill the legislation. But even Democrats know it is unconstitutional because when they were passing it, the US Supreme Court struck down a similar bill in Massachusetts.

Even the NH-ACLU and Democrat Mayor Joyce Craig of Manchester know this bill is illegal and unconstitutional.

And the Facebook page is one Altschiller would never actually support. It supports repeal of the law.

So, she made a special trip there to remind us she opposes free speech and supports legislative acts to suppress it.

Rep. Marjorie Smith, Rep. Sandra Keans, Representative Paul Berch, Rep. Timothy Horrigan for NH House, Rep. David Woodbury, Rep. Debra Altschiller for Stratham, Rep. Charlotte DiLorenzo, Rep. Anita Burroughs, Rep. Wendy Chase for NH State Rep, Rep. Cam Kenney for State Representative, Rep. Diane Langley, Rep. Deb Stevens for Nashua Ward 7 State Rep, Rep. Edward Gordon, and Rep. Joe Alexander for Goffstown voted to deny us our God-given and Constitutionally-protected freedom of speech.

A big thumbs up for unconstitutional suppression of the First Amendment.

Be sure to thank Debra for confirming what we already knew.
