The law does not require a driver’s license to vote. Rather the law provides that the act of voting in New Hampshire is a declaration of residency in New Hampshire, which triggers various responsibilities, including obtaining a New Hampshire driver’s license.
So Amy apparently believes that nonresidents should be able to vote in New Hampshire elections and remain nonresidents. That is quite an interesting position for Amy to take because nonresidents do not have the right to vote in her home State of Minnesota.
