‘Actor’ and part-time hate-hoaxer (also acting) Jussie Smollett has been charged in Chicago for faking a hate crime and wasting police time.
“Empire” actor Jussie Smollett has now been charged with disorderly conduct for filing a false police report, the Cook County States Attorney says.
Disorderly conduct is a Class 4 Felony. CBS 2 Legal Analyst Irv Miller says Smollett could face probation to up to 1.5 years in prison.
He is expected in bond court tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.
No one in the media is being charged with anything. But Don Lemon is working through how Jussie could have gotten away with it.
I am at a loss for words… what exactly are you saying here @donlemon?
Are you saying that if Jussie would have played it differently and had better advisors, he could have gotten away with a hate crime hoax? Am I hearing this right?
