GrokInterview: Frank Edelblut, NH Commissioner of Education – Part 2

With Part 2, I broach the subject that comes up here and again at GraniteGrok: “Curriculum and political bias in the classroom”.  Given that in Part 1 we discussed the appeal process, I was curious as to how often this happens here in NH:

It does happen – the teacher in Gilford showing her class the voting process at the school by pointing to a Republican sign and stating “that is a bad man”.  Or NH teachers berating their students in class simply because they have a different viewpoint, especially in politics.  Or, worse, denigrating those that pay their salaries – like parents. So I brought it up.
