NH Media Not Interested In Local Democrat Reaction to “Impeach the Mother F**ker”

Ed beat me to it, but I’m here with the followup. His question? “Did the NH delegation have anything to say about the Muslim Mother of the Year?” That’s Rashid Tlaib. The Democrat Congresswoman with a mouth like Samuel L Jackson. The NH Democrats in question have said nothing. Is it because no one in the Media will ask them?

Both NHPR and the Concord Monitor “reported” on the Michigan Democrat’s remarks. They even quoted Nancy Pelosi and a few other DC Democrats. None of them elected from New Hampshire.

As if we didn’t have any.

Jeesh, the place is filthy with the things. We’ve got a Congressional delegation full of Democrats. We’ve also got a Democrat Majority State House, State Senate, and Executive Council. But with all those rank and ranking Democrats in elected office, neither the Granite State’s Democrat Party paper of Record (nor New Hampshire Pelosi Radio) could be bothered to ask for their opinion while writing about it.

We know Democrats have opinions.

Reporter: How do you feel about a Democrat calling Mr. Trump a Mother f***er?
Democrat: I said it first. I’m also a big fan of Kathy Griffin’s “work.”

Does anyone doubt that Hassan Staffer Caitlin Marriott hasn’t shared similar thoughts around the Hassan US Senate Offices with her fellow Trump haters? (It probably auto-fills when they are texting each other.)

It’s not news.

Neither WMUR nor the Union Leader appears to have had the time to post something as simple as a pool report or AP story. So, no, they didn’t ask any leading Democrat lights about the controversy.

Neither did the Seacoast rags. This story is dead to them.

The Keene Sentinel has an Opinion Piece that mentions the remark, but it is of a syndicated nature meant for any audience. So, the Sentinel is not pressuring local Democrats for any response either.

Get In front of What?

It is often a good idea, when these things happen, to get out in front of these sorts of things. But if you know no one in the media is going to ask, I guess there’s no reason.

The State Democrat party hasn’t brought it up. I checked. They’re very excited about having screen grabbed a tweet that was deleted by some Republican. Something about Governor Sununu’s inaugural ball. I have a screen grab of the tweet bragging about the screen grab.

So, there, Mother f**kers. (Now, let’s see if we get some media coverage).

As for a Democrat using the word Motherf**ker in reference to the President? Don’t expect any of our crack political reporters (or their editors) to push that envelope. That’s reserved for Republicans. Just wait and see.
