Hyphenated and Tone Deaf

Here we have a photo of Democrat candidate for NH State Senate (District 8), Jenn Alford-Teaster dancing on the graves of veterans in Hillsborough, NH.

She tweeted this photo after some campaigning there last week.  How tone-deaf do you have to be to NOT grasp the significance of the sacred spot you are standing, not to mention frolicking on it for a campaign photo-op.  Perhaps I’m giving her too much credit and she is simply mocking the veterans?

Looking at her website, we see that she’s cut from the same Leftist/Socialist cloth that is running rampant in America today:

  • Militant Public Education stance; opposes school vouchers
  • All-Day Kindergarten
  • “Realign” State resources to social “programs”
  • Supports Family Medical Leave (taxpayer funded)
  • Supports Medicaid Expansion (Obamacare)
  • Renewable Energy zealot
  • Favors towns making their own anti-gun policies

Conversely, Ruth Ward is the Republican incumbent and has a superb record of conservative, small government policies:

  • Opposes new taxes and fees
  • Right to Work advocate
  • Opposes Common Core
  • Supports School Choice
  • Strong Second Amendment supporter

New Hampshire (and America as a whole) must reject the views of Alford-Teaster and support constitutional conservatives, like Ruth Ward, who are holding the line on the positive direction we’ve been taking over the past two years.

Let’s finish the job we started in 2016.

Note: NH Senate District 8 includes the following towns: Acworth, Antrim, Bennigton, Bradford, Croydon, Deering, Francestown, Goshen, Grantham, Hillsborough, Langdon, Lempster, Marlow, Newbury, Newport, New London, Springfield, Stoddard, Sunapee, Sutton, Unity, Washington, Weare and Windsor.
