Liberals think the two are the same. After all, like all of us who cling to our Bibles and guns, we’re all (supposedly) saying the same thing about straws.
(for the uninitiated, the saying is Molon Labe; search for it here on the ‘Grok). And horror of horrors, there’s another way that these evil, nasty, plastic straw and “assault rifles” (as opposed to
“assault hags” who strike senior citizens simply because POLITICS) are the same:

And they certainly should – just like 3D printing of guns is disrupting the Statists insistent kvetching that gun control status quo cannot be upset, so it will be with straws:
You know, the next thing you know will be that some totalitarian is going to suggest that the only remedy for “straw possession” will be jail time…..oh wait!
Here in the Land of the Free, how come we allow these over-bearing, control-seeking self-assured nincompoop hall monitors to believe they can demand how we live in the smallest details? How can we describe ourselves as free if we put up with such crap?
