Vermont Sets aside One Million in ‘Bribes’ to Attract New Residents

Bernie, Barn, VermontThe People running the People’s Republic of Vermont (into the ground) have decided to offer 10,000.00 dollar bribes to the first 100 people who qualify for what they are calling a Remote-Worker Grant Program. To get the cash incentive you have to move yourself and your remote-work job to the Green Mountain State, (and then pay taxes, backstop socialized medicine and other rising welfare costs, along with increasing unfriendly policies towards natural rights including speech, property, and self-defense).

I think they left (most of that) out of the brochure.

Come for the Syrup, Stay for the Socialism.

To qualify for the new program, you must work remotely and full time for a business not located in Vermont and establish state residency by Jan. 1, 2019. Current residents of the Green Mountain State are not eligible.

According to state officials and the official summary of the new legislation, the financial incentive is intended to help cover a worker’s moving costs and business expenses related to working remotely, such as for new technology.

Vermont has an aging population problem and rising (let’s call them) operating costs which means more tax takers than givers. So, the targets of this scheme are young, stupid people who think socialism won’t come and take their s**t.

In case you are bad at math, it’s never going to be worth it. Vermont’s having a fire-sale with hooks attached. Don’t fall for it.

Move to New Hampshire instead. We’re lowering business taxes (at least for now) and even our all gurl congressional delegation, as socialist-Democrat as they may be, have the sense to opposes internet taxes.

You’ll save 10K in no time and then some unless you vote for Democrats.  They’ll take that all back and more.

They want us to be more like Vermont and look where it got them?
