April 17, 2015: 11:50 p.m. Everardo Custodio,22 began firing into a crowd of people in Chicago’s Logan Square. A parked Uber driver exited his vehicle and returned fire with his own gun, stopping Custodio.
The Uber Driver stayed at the scene, provided the Police documentation of his gun ownership and concealed carry license. He faces no charges. The 47-year-old Uber driver “was acting in self-defense and in the defense of others,” Assistant State’s Attorney Barry Quinn said. – Chicago Tribune.
March 22, 2015: 3:00 p.m. Warren Edwards, 40 pulled out a gun and began firing in the middle of an argument at the Falah Barber Shop in Philadephia, PA. the barber told Edwards he needed to “chill out,” when Edwards pulled a gun and begin shooting. At that point another customer pulled out a gun of his own returning fire on Edwards, killing him. Philadelphia Police Captain Frank Llewellyn said, “The person who responded was a legal gun permit carrier…He saved a lot of people. This Could have been a lot worse if it wasn’t for this guy who responded and basically saved a lot of people.”
July 25, 2014: 2:00 p.m. Richard Plotts, 50 Mercy Fitzerald Hospital in Philadephia, PA shot and killed Theresa Hunt, a psychiatric caseworker and intended to kill his psychiatrist, Dr. Lee Silverman.
Doctor Silverman, however, was armed and returned fire, taking down Plotts, who had a history of violence with arrests for simple assault and a federal bank robbery as well as illegal firearms possession. Dr. Silverman has a license to carry a concealed weapon and did so despite the Hospital’s no gun policy. Plotts survived his wounds and is now in custody.
September 9, 2012: 1:45 a.m. William Allabaugh, 24 shot a man in the head inside Bonnie’s Food and Spirits, in Plymouth, PA, after being asked to leave after making making racial and anti-homosexual slurs.
Allabaugh then fatally shot 39-year-old Scott Luzetsky, multiple times outside the bar. Allabaugh then walked toward Mark Krytor carrying a black semi-automatic handgun and pointed the gun at him. Ktytor unholstered his gun firing four shots at Allabaugh, hitting him several times. Allabaugh is charged with murder.
Liberal Liars make the mistake of focusing on mass shootings in public places in their quest to advocate for stricter gun laws and to remove guns from law-abiding citizens.
In reality, mass shootings account for less than 1 percent of the homicides annually. Gun control laws do absolutely nothing to stop spree killings where the killer is determined to commit crimes with high public visibility. Liberal Liars still cling to this narrative.
