Referenced the movie Fight Club the trio egged on preschoolers and kindergartners to fist-fight each other on the playground of Lightbridge Academy.
Prosecutors allege about a dozen boys and girls between ages 4 and 6 were involved in the incident.A teaching assistant Erica Kenny, also charged, used Snapchat to send clips to groups of people. Daycare vice president Jaclyn Falzarano said Kenny and White were fired immediately.
Being New Jersey, its probably a given this is a “state-licensed” facility. And these “teachers” probably had to be blessed and screened by the state. I can imagine the parents are flipping out. The Zoloft will flow, the emotions will run high and the drama will be far and wide. Lawsuits will be filed and Therapy will be assigned.
Some may view it insensitive of me to say the aforementioned. But lets face it; Kids these days are coddled, doted over and babied. This may be the only slice of toughening up they ever get. When I was in Kindergarten we had fight club, with the only intervention being the teacher telling us to play nice. Bullies ran rampant and we kids were left to work it out for ourselves…And, most of us did. But any testicular fortitude this little fiasco afforded the kids, will soon be washed away by Dr. Stuart Smalley and his merry band of mushy weirdos.
I sure wouldn’t feel good about my kid being pushed into a fight club, but I certainly wouldn’t lose a lot of sleep over it either. These “kids” will be adults some day and will lose jobs, get divorces, get mugged and feel the real boot of the state on their necks. This fight club stuff is the stuff of pikers and their helicopter parents , if like most other Millennial parents, will see to it they are woefully unprepared for anything but a life of entitlement and, “dontgivashitness”
Sorry I am not more sensitive, but its the Educrats fault. They left us to bullies, school with asbestos and lead paint, playgrounds with cold steel gray equipment over asphalt, Duck and cover drills for fear the Soviets will nuke us, and sometimes teachers even hit us. The Child’s existence these days is completely foreign to me. They just seem wimpy…soft as a a sneaker full of s**t.
