We’ve commented before that the Republicans CHOOSE not to attack the Democrats the way that the Democrats attack them – or are they just incapable of defending themselves (and, er, us) because they are just the equivalent of the proverbial 98 lb dorky schmucks who haven’t figured out how “lead” to save themselves? Case in point has been the Senate filibuster. Harry Reid certainly decided to nuke it when it fit his needs. Republicans under McConnell’s “leadership” to get rid of Obamacare?

Add Walker and Bush to the above as well. Just one problem for us, though – none of them aren’t running for the Senate.
So even as the Senate WAILS about repealing Obamacare, I guess Ted Cruz was right about the DC Republicans – they refuse to actually follow up their words with actions that would lend truth to their words.
So why do we keep believing them? What is it – they ENJOY letting the Dems beat the crap out of them on important issues on which they have PROMISED?
“Sigh” no longer fits my angst.
