One thing about NH is that there are all kinds of advocacy and educational groups of just about any issue people are talking about. No, not generally all that large but they are passionate about what they do and what they are about.
- On the political side is the NH Liberty Alliance – a group dedicated for keeping our elected politicians on the straight and narrow on legislation that speaks to OUR freedom as individuals (as opposed to giving Government less shackles which generally diminishes our liberty). - On the taxation side comes Cindy Howard for the Claremont Citizens for Lower Taxes. Coming from a section of NH that is as liberal (e.g., spend, spend, spend!) as any other in the country, she and her group fights for the little guys for whom life is harder than the elites and for those who aren’t part of the politically connected.
