Brilliant!~ just brilliant! This morning, I come to you from Harrisburg Pennsylvania, versus my humble home in the Granite State. I am here visiting my Daughter and Son-in-law and the grandkids…They are residents. So anyhow, as I am rolling out of bed and turn on the television, this commercial comes on. Tom Wolf…in a classroom….surrounded by kiddos. Wolf goes into this diatribe about paying for education through [drumroll, please] an, “Extraction Tax.” Yes, he wants to pay for education with taxing utilities to take natural resources from under the Keystone state. I needed the laugh, but I find it a rather novel idea to campaign on implementing a tax such as this at a time when jobs and energy are such central issues to our national economy. This struck me as an, “us versus them,” campaign where Wolf pits the gas companies against the education proletariat.
So there is that…But I know at least one PA household that won’t be casting a vote for Wolf down here in PA.
