As Ed Morrissey points out what a great trade this was. The Democrats got Charlie Crist for their convention, we get Artur Davis.
Davis lost his faith in the Democrats because Obama made him see what had become of that Party. Crist veered left in pursuit of political power when it became clear that he could not defeat Marco Rubio in a Republican primary for the US Senate. Nothing should surprise us about that. People craving power above all else belong at the Democrat Convention.
But all that aside, three and half years on, many 2008 Obama voters have come to realize that Mr. Obama didn’t actually want to lead, he didn’t actually want to be the President, he just wanted to play him on Television. And after three and a half years of leading from behind, he’s not even very good at that anymore.
Artur Davis has some thoughts about Mr. Obama, and a message for the folks who, like him, were fooled back in 2008.
