Gone Hunting!
TMEW and I just switched our trash service from Waste Management to a much smaller firm. Frankly, I got tired of seeing the "fuel adjustment" charge, the "administrative / environmental" charge" et al and the fact that I often had to chase my trash barrels down the street (the large Rubbermaid kind that you could put a circular "dolly" under to make it easier to move) – living on the side of a mountain, things on wheels tend to follow the behavior of water (head downhill). So, we asked neighbors and friends for another service, found another vender, and we love them – quiet trucks, they pick up exactly when they say they will, and the barrels are EXACTLY in the same spot I left them in. Seems like the obvious things to be doing, but one didn’t and the other is.
Well, this evoked laughter when I read it:

"…pays for them to go hunting every year…" Now tell me, how many other companies have that as a company benefit? I don’t hunt myself (preferring my warm comfy bed to tromping in what could be cold, wet woods), but more power to these guys!
