ABA debates birthright US citizenship

TORONTO (AP) — The American Bar Association will vote next week on a resolution urging the U.S. Congress to reject any changes to the Constitution that would eliminate the automatic grant of citizenship to anyone born in the United States.

The association, which is holding its annual meeting in Toronto, debated the issue Thursday ahead of next Tuesday’s vote.

This issue is one where anyone born in the US is automatically a US citizen including those born to illegal aliens and those participating in the booming "baby tourism" (where Moms come to the US on a "visit", deliver, and then head home smiling that they have obtained not a vacation but a ‘get out of my country" free card via their new American baby).
