Hour 1      Hour 2

Note: I have a "sticky" that tells me to turn on the Edirol (my digital recorder) and the live stream recording.  I "ignored it during the first segment, which as luck would have it, was just me prattling along.  Not a bad segment, but that makes Hour 1 a tad short.  Also, some audio problems – an artifact of taking the whole system apart for Friday night’s event and not having sufficient time to test before Sat. morning’s show.

Shane Vander der Hart, founder of Caffeinated Communications Network (and Caffeinated Thoughts and Caffeinated Theology) comes on to talk Presidential Primary politics.  Coming from Iowa, he will be one of our contacts there so that we can keep tabs on what the Prez Wannabees are saying to us here in NH vs what they are telling Shane and his fellow Iowans as our two states have widely varying constituencies (e.g., social conservatives vs libertarians, churched vs unchurched, farming vs small biz, et al).  Part 1   Part 2

Groksters Steve, Rick, and Skip discuss an article from Dennis Praegar on the idea that a Socialist state really is a selfish state ("what will I get from the State and how do I get more?")

Continuing on, they discuss Obama’s newly named foreign policy doctrine: Leading from behind":
  • "leading from behind" in Libya.  Who will lead, though?
  • The rise of China on the world stage.
  • The "old powers" military might goes limp.
The gang continues on to some lightning rounds on a variety of topics:   Speak!
  • Romney at the NRA (Hot Air) and from last nite’s AFP event
  • Unions "Stick it to Walker" – union workers putting stickers on food items in WI grocery stores (er, illegal to boot!); morphs to "public unions don’t think about the cost to taxpayers"
  • Overall Tornado deaths (Powerline) down – but what about climate change?

John Hawkins of RightWingNews comes on to talk about his new site, Trending Right, that tracks twitter traffic: topics, names, frequencies, and does some stats that shows how fast a "meme" (or story) is rising or falling within that buzz. Interview

As an evangelical Christian and Conservative with small "L" libertarian leanings, my fight is with Progressives forcing a collectivized, secular humanistic future upon us.
