Hour 1      Hour 2

Ah yes, the Ad Hoc show!  Frankly, this edition almost didn’t happen, but when the call went out, help came running! Doug joined Skip in studio and in the first segment of the show, Grokster Tim, via his NYC based daughter,  brought up the surprising news about GraniteGrok from, of all places, the NY Times Magazine.  It listed GraniteGrok as a Blogger to be Feared in the early three states selecting the next Presidential candidates.     Part 1

NH State Representative Dan McGuire came on to talk about the recently passed NH House HB 1, the budget bill that got so much attention last week (for many reasons).   Part 1   Part 2   Part 3

‘Grok friend and Cornerstone Action Education Liasion Ann-Marie Banfield came on to talk about Presidential Primary Politics (she and Doug are all aflutter about "The Donald" in Part 1 and in Part 2, talked about HB 542 concerning the ability of parents, for conscience reasons, to pull their children out of a class when objectional materials (for examples, see here) are presented.  The baseline principle at stack is "who is primarily responsible for childrent: the State or the parents?

Grokster Mike follows up and gives us a report from his recent trip to Iowa when he went to US Representative Steve King’s (R-Iowa) Conservative Principles Conference.  The room was packed, politics in the air, and speeches and pols abounded.     Part 1   Part 2

BTW, in Iowa, who were the top two folks that the attendees chose as their favorites?  We were surprised!

Co-founder of GraniteGrok, my concern is around Individual Liberty and Freedom and how the Government is taking that away. As an evangelical Christian and Conservative with small "L" libertarian leanings, my fight is with Progressives forcing a collectivized, secular humanistic future upon us. As a TEA Party activist, citizen journalist, and pundit!, my goal is to use the New Media to advance the radical notions of America's Founders back into our culture.
