Guest Post-Richard Olson Jr. ‘Todays “Interesting” Gun Thought’

Clairnet Case?My youngest daughter is in the seventh grade. She plays the Clarinet. She plays the Clarinet quite well and is in the school band. There are a number of concerts throughout the year and they are extremely enjoyable.

This morning, my phone rang at 7:10 AM. My daughter had forgotten her Clarinet. Consequently I needed to deliver said Clarinet because she has band at 8:20.

Off I go to McLaughlin Middle School, Clarinet in hand. Arriving at the school, I approach the door, push the button and am buzzed in…As I approached the front office desk to deliver the Clarinet…in its hard-sided case, it struck me…"Holy Crap…this looks like a hard-sided handgun case" Another Dad was there in the office and as I chuckled at the thought, I looked at the case and muttered that effect to which the other dad interjects, "Yeah! I was just thinking that very same thing!"

Funny world of ironies we live in…
