Dear Member,

I am writing to ask for your vote in the upcoming election for New Hampshire GOP Chairman.

The Republican values of limited government, freedom and individual responsibility are the same principles our Founding Fathers used as a foundation for our Democratic Republic.  It is our responsibility as activists and leaders to assure that we continue to elect those candidates who most firmly embrace these principles.

Our state and our nation face great challenges in the years ahead and you and I both know that in order to overcome those challenges and emerge a stronger, greater nation, we must have the strong, principled leadership of Republicans.

That is why I am running for NH GOP Chairman and that is why I am asking you to please work with me.

As the next Chairman, my primary goals will be as follows:

  1. Maintain the Republican majority in the State House
  2. Return the Governor’s Office to strong Republican leadership.
  3. Deliver NH in the Presidential primary to the Republican nominee.
  4. Grow the size of the Republican Party in every county in the state.

I understand that some may look at that list and say “no way” or “you’re dreaming.”

I say, we can, and we MUST.  Our neighbors across New Hampshire put their faith in us on November 2nd of last year and come November 6, 2012 they will look to us once again. If we stand united now and work closely with one another these are easily accessible goals.

Here’s how we do it:

1.  I will fight the Democrats every day.  With the successes of the last election cycle we know that the radical leadership of the Democratic Party is going to come after us even harder in the next two years.  We must have a Chairman with the tenacity to bring the fight to them every single day.  We must have a Chairman who passionately embraces and promotes the Republican platform.  I will bring to this position the same dedication and passion that I displayed in my campaign.

2. Build bridges between all groups of Republican activists for a strong, coordinated effort.  My state-wide gubernatorial campaign was built on the efforts of long-time GOP activists, new Republicans and Liberty Republicans.  As Chairman, I will continue to work to bring these groups together for the success of the party.

3.  Raise the necessary resources.  Last year I raised over $100,000 from donors across the state.  As Chairman, I will work closely with our federal delegation and long-time GOP givers as well as lay out a plan to bring new donors to the Republican effort.  I will build a strong Finance Committee with the help of many of those who have already endorsed me and I will apply the many lessons I have learned over the past 25 years as a successful NH small business owner.

4.  I will use regularly scheduled “listening meetings” to reach out to disenfranchised Republicans and independents in order to draw them into the Republican effort and grow the size and success of our party.  I will regularly reach out to all groups of Republican activists and work closely with the County and Town Committees to support their efforts.  As Chairman, my door will always be open and I will listen carefully to the advice and feedback of others.

5.  Execute a detailed plan to recruit and elect strong, principled Republicans. With the help of an experienced staff and thousands of grassroots activists, we will grow the Republican success in New Hampshire.

I have been a conservative for my whole life, I have a strong reputation for standing on principle and fighting for what is right and through my campaign I have developed a strong state-wide network of activists and support.

However, you and I both know that this is much bigger than one person or one election.  We have a long fight ahead of us, but if we all stand together and work shoulder to shoulder, we will achieve all the goals I have set out in this letter and much more.

Most importantly, we will leave the Republican Party a stronger, more effective voice of the people and as I once heard another Republican say, if the party does not serve the people, then it serves no purpose at all.

It will be an honor if I am granted the privilege of serving my neighbors across the state as Chairman of the New Hampshire Republican Party.

It is with great dedication to the cause and deep humility that I am asking for your vote.

Sincerely,

Jack Kimball
