In their purposeful anger to "not waste a crisis" (in this case, the horrific murders by a lunatic in Tuscon) the Left immediately went to task in provoking a new outbreak in the ideological wars and declare themselves blameless in the "Rhetoric War".
- They went after "heated rhetoric" like fire goes through a old wooden building.
- Then, their own words were used against them
Seeing that this was failing with the public, they tried to change the subject to gun control.
Two things stand out:
- Here in NH, the controversy has been over repealing the gun ban rule (not law, but rule) in the Statehouse, as if it would be fourth graders at great risk of their lives – we cannot let a single child be at risk for loosing their life!
- Yet, they have no problem, by voting down Parental Notification, in medically putting young girls at medically at risk and with no input from her parents. They wail about the potential danger in visiting the Statehouse but take only a glancing interest in the actual killing an unborn child.
Anyone else notice this large contradiction?
We live in a free society – we have risks. Tell you what – you do away with killing of unborn children and I’ll think about the guns. However, until Liberals stop being hypocritical on the issue of Life, I won’t have to think about it any time soon.
