Well, one person ain’t happy with Speaker O’Brien – but I wouldn’t expect her to be, either

Zandra Rice Hawkins, Granite State Progress Ah yes, Ms. Progressive – Zandra Rice Hawkins has her panties all in a wad once again.  From the Concord Monitor, the head of Granite State Progress (that far Left outpost of the Colorado model of Progressivism):

"Bill O’Brien will be a real challenge for New Hampshire," said Zandra Rice Hawkins, executive director of the progressive advocacy group Granite State Progress. "He is anti-consumer protections, anti-health reform, anti-gay, anti-choice and anti-local-control."

Go ahead, lady – prove your assumptions.  She has no basis for the first, she’s upset that the plan to have Government control over every facet of our healthcare is probably toast here in NH, not happy that their rush to change societal mores is now going to get rolled back (after all, what a mere law can put into place, a law can roll back).

And the one thing that is absolutely wrong is that he is for pushing control further down the chain – he and others will be working to reverse the consolidation of power to Concord that the Progressive Democrats have been doing the last four years.

A micro-temper tantrum is what ails you, m’lady!

Well, it’s looking like it will be a long two years for her – and if the New Republicans stay true to their campaign promises this time, she may be good and grey before Progressives get the chance to drive NH, not into a ditch, but off the cliff as they have over the last few years.

Simply put, Progressives wanted a highly centralized Government to be in control  so as to have an "efficient" society.  They expect us to give up our Rights and allow Government to nudge / cajole / rule / run our lives according to their values.  Instead of letting us run our own.  They wish to give us the choices from which to "have our freedom".  New Hampshire said "enough of this nonsense".

No, Ms. Hawkins, New Hampshire will not have a problem with Speaker O’Brien.  Really, if you look at it, from a reality based locus, it was New Hampshire that had a huge problem with Progressives like you, deary.  After all, how else can you really explain what happened with "The Wipeout"?

Believe me – it was not "just poor messaging"…
