More on the unemployment picture….

Remember way back when, as Obama announced his support for the Stimulus, that the word was that we HAD to do the Stimulus as soon as possible, otherwise unemployment would just shoot out of sight!

Well, THAT worked well, didn’t it? And nothing says "FAIL" like a chart:

(H/T: BigGovernment)

Yup, the "We’re in the best of hands" group has been just so dead on with this projection, eh? The best that the "reality based community" that are leading us have made that unemployment curve bend downward, eh?

At what point do the rest of us tell that bunch of Cabinet level tax dodgers and Ivory Tower brie eating schmucks enough is enough.  If this keeps up, we may well be testing Pelosi’s newest theory – that unemployment benefits are the quickest way to simulate the economy.

The way things are going, we may all be sucking the Government’s teat to see if her fantasy will come true.  Unemployment hasn’t been this bad this long since the 1930s.  And, if her theory is true, will all of the "99ers" (those who have been complaining that their 99 weeks of unemployment handouts are about to run out and want more of it) agree with her that it is the quickest way back to financial health?

While Steve had the most current numbers, remember this: we need 120,000 new private sector jobs each month to keep the unemployment rate from going up.  Add to that, 300,000 new jobs are needed to start pushing the rate down.

Remember that every time a Democrat says that the private sector is coming back – remind them that anything less than 120,000 is a FAIL.
