Yup, Pat is trying to make himself credible again, having masterminded Sean Mahoney’s failure (…er, three strikes…) at obtaining the Republican nomination for Congress in NH CD-1. See that he neglected AnkleBiting Pundits after having renamed it "CrushKerry" and then let Now!Hampshire lay fallow (except for promoting Mahoney and denigrating anyone that stood in that path).
So now, he has started yet another project – NHJournal with other NH political operatives such as Shawn Millerick and Michael Dennehy.
Sidebar: I looked at their "50 shakers" list – glad to see that these founders decided to award themselves plaundits as being part of that 50. As one wag said" "the other 49 are there to give Hynse credibility".
And they even mentioned GraniteGrok concerning our announcement that Jack Kimball was running for NH GOP – thank the Lord for small wonders – even as they spelled the name as two words.
Sidebar: You know, Hynse was one of the first national level blogs to link up GraniteGrok. He also was a major part of Meet The New Press and a co-host right from when it started (he’s the one in the back in the picture)
– in fact, it was his idea in the first place! You mean to tell me that he can’t have his staff get simple names right after that long association with us? Heck, he used to blog here!
So, now he comes up with this absolutely stunning and stellar piece of news and announces it on Facebook:
A battle many in the grassroots have been spoiling for some time now: Establishment versus tea party for control of the GOP
Ya think, Patrick Hynse? For how long has this been going on and NOW you think you’ve had an epiphany? And I was under the impression that political operatives were all smarter than the rest of us – especially lowly bloggers! This struggle has only been going on since before you decided that Sean ought to run as a TEA Partier (I warned you not to do that). NOW, not knowing a THING about the internals of the TEA Party groups here in NH, you proudly decide that your new venture has the news that the rest of us don’t know about? We’ve been saying it for quite some time…but heck, what do we know, we’re just "a small blog".
And if you noticed, Hynsie, it should be TEA for Taxed Enough Already and not simply "tea" – just figured that I’d make you feel at home and throw in just a wee bit of bloggish snark in just for old times sake.
BTW, Hynse, where does your bunch of operatives land – on the side of the Establishment, or on the side of the TEA Party?
It won’t take much of a clue to guess…just follow the money (wonder if Sean asked for a rebate for that cool 1/2 million Hynse and crew made disappear).
I haven’t even read his post yet!
