And Let Me Add This…

Let me add this to Skips post just a short scroll below this one.  State GOP candidate for Chairman Juliana Bergeron’s false grass roots mantle (and it is false) is not just an opportunistic stab at tapping populist enthusiasm, she could find herself left behind should she win by simply tilting at the TEA parties windmills.

The Liberty and Freedom folks are going to keep doing what they did in 2009 and 2010 no matter who is running the Republican party in New Hampshire, no matter who wins, and no matter what else they may decide are our priorities.  If they happen to align, great.  If not….

The grass roots will continue to make a case for smaller government, and more personal freedom.  They are going to rally and communicate, and contribute to candidates at every level that meet those expectations.  And they will do it with our without the party apparatus because at no point should the party ever come before principle.

And while we respect the need to be organized and coordinated on issues with which we all agree we already know how to do that despite you.  We’ve never let the establishment slow us down before and the proof of that is evident in the establishment candidate pretending to be one of us.

But pretending to be one of us won’t make a whit of difference unless it happens to be genuine.  We are not party sheep who give out accolades for time served.  We are people of action.  We don’t care who you know, or how long you’ve been involved.  We want people who know what a constitution and a platform are and how to use them.

So while pandering may manage to get you the job, if you don’t then practice what you preach, we will continue toward our goals and you’ll be left behind…holding the tea bag.
